Tina Schivatcheva is a University of Cambridge graduate and a specialist in international development. She is currently involved in an academic research project studying the role of the international organizations in sustainable development, thus she always has to spend a lot of time in Sofia (Bulgaria), Berlin and in the UK. Her professional experiences and educational qualifications from both Europe and Canada have helped her to understand how small and interconnected is in fact our "global village." 

Being passionate about finding development solutions which are harmless to the environment and fairer to the people, most recently she has contributed professionally to four projects of the pan-European 7th Framework Research Programme of the European Research Council. An active campaigner for environmental and human rights issues she was awarded the Kings College Global Experience Award in July, 2015 for her contribution to the issues of sustainable development in Africa.
