Vienna: The Labour Lines Up To The Freedom Party

Local elections took place on Sunday October 11, 2015 in Vienna has shown us once again that the workers support the far right.

The Social Democratic party, which has governed “Red Vienna” for decades, lost its positions. Its polls are 40% (in comparison with 60 % in 1973)

For the same period of time the People’s Party (Österreichische Volkspartei) has lost its ground as its polls have lowered from 30% to less than 10%.

The front-runner is the Freedom party headed by Heinz-Christian Strache who is considered to be Jörg Haider’s successor.

Freedom party secured more than 30%. Green party’s polls are less than 12% and liberal newish the New Austria and Liberal Forum (NEOS) received only 6,2%.

Detailed analysis shows that within the precincts of such industrial areas like Simmering, Floridsdorf, Donaustadt, and Favoriten the Freedom party received approximately 40%.

The runner-up is the Social Democratic party that received nearly the same amount of votes.

The Freedom party obtained 60% by the workers (by comparison the Freedom party received 30% while the Social Democratic party – 18%) as the result of the Upper Austrian state elections held September 27, 2015. Fritz Platze, a political science professor, claimed that these results demonstrate us that the Freedom party is a workers` party of a new type.

Representatives of the labor class (both the employed and the unemployed) got tired to let the failed Social Democrats policy happen. They are sick of Social Democrats who ignore the problems of ordinary citizens and who separate themselves from people. The labour decided to fly the nest of Social Democrats and switched to the Freedom party.

It’s been around for ages and is not limited to Austria.

The National Front has made great progress on the north of France once industrially developed center that has faced a breakdown. Marine Le Pen has launched there her campaign for forthcoming regional for the regional elections 2015.

In the Netherlands Geert Wilders, the leader of the Party for Freedom, who came from the conservative-liberal party, gave to the Party for Freedom a social trend.

In Denmark, the nationalists from the Danish People’s Party have captured the vast populace who previously supported Social Democrats.

The labor class followed the International Marxist Tendency because they, and their families, were impoverished in the end of 19st and in the beginning of the 20th century. Moreover, we can’t put aside the fact that they are nationalists due to their inner convictions.

Now freed from the Marxism pressure they have faced the open borders impose by the international high-finance that reduce the number of job places and cut wages. Workers are seeking asylum among the nationalist parties that are the only to protect them from the adverse effects of globalization.
