REFUGEES IN EU AND RUSSIA'S HIDDEN HAND: THE PROPAGANDA OF CALLING THE KETTLE BLACK

“We used to think that revolutions are the cause of change. Actually, it is the other way around. Change prepares the ground for revolution.” Eric Hoffer, A Time of Juveniles,”The Temper of Our Time (1967), 1

A few weeks ago, in front of the Senate Armed Services Committee, a top U.S. NATO General accused Moscow of conspiring with Syrian President Assad to deliberately inspire and manage the displacement and relocation of Muslims into Europe. It’s probably one of the greatest exhibitions of shameless lying and propaganda since the U.S. justified bombing Yugoslavia, and warrants very careful analysis in order to avoid the same disastrous outcome.

U.S. Air Force Gen. Philip Breedlove, commander of the U.S. European Command and Supreme Allied Commander for Europe, publicly accused Russia of insidiously triggering the mass Syrian refugee and migrant relocation into Europe, in order to cause chaos, trauma, and disintegration of European cultural integrity.

General Breedlove told the committee:

“Together, Russia and the Assad regime are deliberately weaponizing migration in an attempt to overwhelm European structures and break European resolve.”

Specifically, General Breedlove insisted that the influx of migrants to Europe benefited Moscow, and claimed that foreign militants fighting in Syria are now returning to Europe, where they can use their battlefield skills to attack Europeans.

RT reported that Breedlove claimed the strategy was used by both Russian and Syrian presidents Putin and Assad to create a distraction for the western countries, which have been overwhelmed and struggling to contain the Muslim migration crisis and did not notice or understand its root cause. Breedlove stated to the Senate Armed Services Committee that the reason behind the immigration flow into Europe was simply this:

“Indiscriminate weapons used by both Bashar al-Assad, and the non-precision use of weapons by the Russian forces.”

Essentially, the argument made by General Breedlove was this: The Russian bombs and missiles, and aggression of Syrian Government soldiers were so loud and messy and scary, that the non-ISIS, non-Wahhabi Syrians fled the Syrian government forces trying to protect them. So the refugees and migrants are packing up their weapons, cell phones, and heading off to Europe - no doubt whistling the tune to“Bridge on the River Kwai”as they march - to seek out a better life with buildings that have walls and roofs.

What Breedlove failed to mention was that 1) this migration of Middle East peoples into Europe started long before Russia entered the fight in Syria in September 2015; and 2) the U.S. military forces stationed around Europe to protect it - as promised by the U.S. Since 1945 - have done absolutely nothing to stem the tide of people invading Europe, despite having the capability - and in fact, NATO obligation - to do so. Instead, the U.S. has abandoned its responsibility, and left the problem entirely to the European nations themselves to solve; and Europe, as we know, sadly doesn’t have the military or police resources or political willpower to stop this human tsunami of migrants.

Now personally I can’t believe this explanation at all because of history, the evidence, and logic. The truth is simply this: The non-Wahhabi, non-ISIS Syrians and Kurds are running away from the savage ethnic cleansing being imposed upon them by ISIS/AL NUSRA/AL QAIDA extremists, who are armed, financed and supported by Saudi Arabia, the Sunni Gulf Nations, the United States, and Israel. Syrians are not running away from the Russians or President Assad or the Syrian military forces. Although they may be abandoning the field of battle instead of standing their ground and fighting the Wahhabi ISIS invaders - which is another discussion entirely about the strength of their character - they are not running away from the Russians or Assad. So any attempt by General Breedlove to blame the refugee-migrant exodus into Europe on Russia or Assad is absolute propaganda, a psyop, and a lie. Simple as that.

Why is the argument of General Breedlove silly? Because it tries to suggest that these refugees and migrants are not emotionally able to endure war and suffering and trauma, and therefore they are afraid and running from it. The truth is the opposite: These people are more familiar with war and suffering and violence than any other tribe of mankind.

First of all, the desert people of the Middle East - especially the Wahhabi cult of Islam - are, based on the past 70 years of political trauma, quite deaf, dumb, and blind to the sound of quiet and the colors of cleanliness. They are essentially unfamiliar with the ideas of religious tolerance, respect for women and their right to live free, and the separation of church and state. Ask any soldier who has served in the Middle East or Afghanistan, and they will concur that the sounds filling those lands are predominantly screams of terror, pain, and rage, mixed occasionally with hysterical child-like weeping, and suicide chants of“Allah  Akbar.”

Besides being utterly ridiculous, the most outrageous and sinister aspect of this statement was the deafening silence it was met with by the American Members of Congress giving him an audience. Since the history and body of evidence about the Syrian conflict clearly prove without any doubt the U.S./Israeli/Saudi/Turkish support and financing of the Wahhabi-Sunni ISIS/AL NUSRA forces - which of course is currently an international crime - the failure of Congress to exercise its Constitutional duty to criminally charge General Breedlove with  Perjury, Contempt of Congress, Dereliction of Duty, Conduct Unbecoming an Officer, Misprision of a Felony,” and even  Conspiracy to Commit Treason Against the United States of America, simply confirms either the insanity or deceitfulness of the American Congress as well as its Military- Intelligence - Diplomatic community; or the contempt and disrespect they must have for the American public if they think they’re so stupid as to believe such a lie.

Other charges of course, using the same language, should be simultaneously filed in the United Nations Criminal Court and European Union for the psychological violence and political subterfuge General Breedlove is attempting to beguile NATO, Europe, and the world with.

In essence, the argument that Breedlove was trying to sell to the Europeans was that it was because the Russians and Syrians were indiscriminately using loud bombs and bloody nerve gas that millions of Muslims were fleeing into Europe.

According to RT, Syrian Kurds accuse Turkey of aiding sarin gas delivery to rebels after fresh chemical attacks.

Despite the glaring evidence that the mustard gas attacks against civilians were done not by Syrian President Assad, but by ISIS or Turkish forces, there was no mention of this by General Breedlove; nor of the clear history and documentation of Turkish/Saudi/US/Israel“aide and financing”of ISIS via the supplying of food, Captagon drugs supplied by Saudi princes (as seen in the recent arrest of the Saudi Prince with a plane load of these drugs), cash laundered by Swiss Bank account holders from Saudi Arabia, U.S. Toyota trucks, ammunition and weapons, as well as political and religious support from Gulf State Dictators and Mullahs in“man-dresses” pontificating from Wahhabi pulpits.

These things, more than any excessively loud, messy, and indiscriminate Russian weapons, or impolite Syrian soldiers, have fueled ISIS savagery and expanded its networks and operations; and thereby contributed to the expulsion of native Syrians from their homes.

Paraphrasing, RT also reported that:

Russian Ministry of Defense spokesman Igor Konashenkov called the allegations a  recurrence” of the NATO general’s traditional rhetoric which,  only reaffirms concerns about Breedlove’s ‘memory dislocation’.”

Konashenkov added:

“Essential is the fact that as a result of the Russian operation, the UN is registering the reduction of refugee flows from Syria and a process of reconciliation has been initiated, which is something the Western so-called  anti-ISIS coalition” has been unable to achieve over the previous three years of their  fight against terrorism.”

Moscow’s News Media channel Russia Today (RT) reflected Moscow’s response, as well as reported it, saying:

“Moscow was amused by the top NATO General’s claims that it is using the refugee crisis as a  weapon” against the West, with the Defense Ministry’s spokesman saying such rhetoric reaffirms concerns of Breedlove’s apparent dislocation of memory.”

In short, Igor Konashenkov was trying to sound smart and superior by accusing General Breedlove of insanity or dementia. But this has a twang of arrogance to it, which causes the common man to wince, then disdain the speaker and pull back from him and his ideas, which is exactly the opposite of what you want to do in a fight for the“hearts and minds of the common people.

This indulgence of amusement was Russia’s fatal move, which may in fact have cost them Europe…and the game. Time will tell.
